Discontinued, hard to find Polaris Hood decals - Snowmobile Forum: Your #1 Snowmobile Forum

I am fixing up a 2004 600 Classic and cannot find a couple hood decals. I have the part numbers (7171116 and 7171125 Polaris numbers). I have checked with several OEM parts supplers with no luck. Does anyone know of a supplier that might have these?

I would find it hard to believe you cant get it from the dealer - they may not have them in stock but they should be able to order them for you. Thats weird - WL

I just checked. Both part numbers are discontinued from Polaris.

I know that when I was looking for a parts for a vintage Yamaha, the Yamaha Dealer could search through a database that they had to see if the part I needed was in stock across the whole country. Not sure if the Polaris Dealers can do the same.

Haven't tried with sleds but I've had some success with a local graphics shop on motorcycle decals. If I could provide them with a somewhat detailed pic and dimensions they could re-produce almost any decal. Pricey though but not much more than the dealer would charge for OEM if they still made them.

That's what I did. Checked through polaris, they have none in stock at any warehouses and discontinued making them.
