Hi all,
Im looking into getting a 03 edge 600. It has 3300 miles on it, no electric start or reverse. Hes asking 1400$ for it. Nobody I know has owned an edge so here i am asking for anyones opinion. Good price for the sled? The seller says it needs nothing. Does anyone know of common issues or should I jump on this sled while I can? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The small block 600 is a great engine, it has few problems. If you can find a PERC setup for it, you can add electronic reverse with no engine changes. The Edge chassis is dependable and pretty robust with a nice ride. Check the bearings on the driveshaft, make sure the shocks are maintained, and it should be a nice ride. It won't keep up with the Thundercat, however. But somehow, I think you knew that

haha i dont plan on keeping up with the tcat. Im looking to sell it soon, time to ride a sled more trail friendly.

at $1400,that sled is probably sold by now.the going rate for an 03' xc600 is(with 3,400 miles) between $2-3k

Totally agree. If that is a solid sled it is a total steal at $1400. I would be there to look at it yesterday. Where did you see that again? Haha!

Agree with above, that is a steal if the sled is in good shape, in WI that would be a $2500 sled. I ride with a friend who has 05 xc600, he loves it and it really hauls for a 600.

I texted the guy selling it today and he still has it available. From the looks of it based off pictures only, the only thing wrong is the seat has a rip where it bumps up in the back.. ( seems to be a Polaris thing haha)... Hopefully it is a steal and isnt priced based off of a problem it has.
