1996 Polaris indy 500 when the hand warmers are turned on the head lights and tail lights dim way down and the tach drops way down BUT the engine RPMS does not drop any help would be great.

they are drawing too much from the electrical system. either the voltage regulator is weak or the resistor for the heaters is going bad. are they stock or have they been wired in by someone?
