something wrong with indy600 help!

it runs good, and on a track stand when i rev it, it sounds great, the track spins and all. on the ground when i hit the gas, it goes about 3ft revs up and all then bogs/stops and sometimes a pop comes from the exaust (not loud like a backfire but just a pop) it is also smoking alot even at operating temp. but isnt like black smoke and just smells like normal snowmobile exaust. carbs have already been gone through.

also checked the choke plungers, none are getting stuck. ran perfect last year! new belt and sheaves in clutch have been cleaned out. this is an odd way for a sled to act to me, its puzzling! slides in carb all lift at same time and its getting plenty of gas.

Could be a sign of low compression. Saw same thing happen to my buddies xlt before it crapped out. If compression is good and plugs look good, it's your clutches that need to be cleaned, or resprung.
