My best friend has a 96 Indy Trail and reverse was working fine until recently. Now when he pulls the lever back, it won't fully engage. If he lifts the hood and pulls pressure on the cable he can get it to go in but it won't stay. Is there an adjustment that he can make or do you think this might be a more serious problem.
