clutch noise..polaris supersport

2005 polaris super sport 550 ive read a lot about the drive train and the bolt head breaking off.. i did replace my whole drive shaft and it came 3/8 from the factory.. i put everything back together hoping to fix the clunk noise i heard when taking off from a stop. this past weekend i drove the sled and when pulling from a stop it still makes the clunk and it sounds like a clunk clunk clunk when i pull away slowly... once i get going around 15 mph i dont hear it anymore i looked at the weights on the clutch and all looks normal there isnt a lot of play like nothing like a bad bearin. it just doesnt feel normal/right... any suggestions

Have you checked the chain tension in your chain case? the chain may be loose and skipping?

i ajdusted the track the way i have read from forums...loosen the rear wheels and put a 10 lb weight from the track and tightened it so the sliders and track are like 1 1/2'' apart.

The Team secondary has two rollers that roll forward before engaging. They all make a clunk. It will be more noticable just after you have activated the PERC reverse.

Like Dan said, there is almost always a clunk after going from reverse to forward.
