Here is another newbee paying his dues story,,,

I have been struggling with my 97 XC700, had a Mag seal go out on the trail took out mag side piston and stock head chamber dome, serious cherynobil melt down but I did not know the real cause. I had just put on a SLP single pipe and was running 200/195 jets and a 45 pilot. Assumed that I needed to jet up. So I found a PSA cheater head that has the insert domes, it was 5 CC larger than the stock 700 head. I figured I would give it a try. Installed new piston, 220 jug and the cheater head, 205/200 jets and away I went. Guess what? yep another melt down this time not as bad but bad enough.

And oh yeah I will be changing the seal too, the motors on the bench

I have a piston, the jug is OK just wondering if anyone knows were to buy these dome inserts for the PSA cheater head? cant find anything on the web.
