Anyone install a reverse kit in 96 XLT?

just got a 96xlt

just wondering how easy it would be to install reverse kit?

wheres a good place to get a kit?


first snowmobile ive ever had.

first snowmobile ive ever had.
belileve you need a whole new chaincase that has reverse. They are quite expensive. Look on ebay.

I asked about that same thing for my 93 xlt sp with my local shop, they told me just the kit is about $700, i decided not to worry about it.
Plus they said it is time consuming and kind of a pain in the @$$ and that if it doesnt have it, they wouldn't recommend it. Guess to each his own.
