1999 Indy 500 Track Question

Ive got a 1999 Polaris Indy 500. Track specs. 121" x 15" .82. What is the most height I can get for this sled. I need a new track. Have no idea what to look for. No deep snow, moslty trail and iced over lakes.

Any ideas of what track is best for this?

I know fellers who stuck 1 1/2" paddle tracks under their short tracks. I assume that they had to go to smaller drivers but I can't swear to it.

Keep in mind too that taller lugs also mean more rolling resistance [mass] and that will slow you down, particularly in the top end.

I have a 99 xcsp. Not positive on the comparison 99 Indy. I had to cut notches out of a 1.25 track to avoid from hitting the tunnel protectors underneath the tunnel. Looked like it was going to fit originally, but it didn't. I would go with the stock size unless you want to have to cut notches for clearance.

For your riding style a 1" ripsaw would be best. No mods needed
