Picked Up An Old Gemini And Got Some Questions About It

Hey im new here , i picked up an old 80s gemini from a farmer as a lil project sled , but the engine is a lil stuck atm. the piston is at bdc so the diesel in the piston trick was a lil bit hard , but tonight we managed to get the jug loose and off the engine but now the crank bearings are a lil seized aswell. My question is How does the second part off the primary clutch come off?
Like is it threaded or does it have a keyway , we need to get it off in order to split the block to keep tinkering with the old girl

Thank you

It is on a tapered shaft, you need the correct puller tool.

Most pullers look like a long bolt and thread into the end of the clutch. Turning the bolt pushes on the end of the crankshaft and pushes the clutch off of the shaft. It is sometimes pretty difficult to get stubborn ones off without damage. Good luck.

ya we got a few different pullers in the shop , we had to heat the clutch shaft and give her a few wacks with the hammer with the puller on to get the clutch shaft off
