Secondary spinning/track not moving stil sounds like the key. Inch and half is pretty short it might not be all the way in? When the secondary is moving, is the jackshaft moving? If it is it might be something with the chaincase or something. If its not its gotta be the key

Is it just a chain and sprocket in the chain case?

Basically. And a tensioner. Make sure if you take the cover off you have new chaincase oil to put in it.

Do what i said to do above. This will help us figure out where the problem is. If its in the clutch or further on.

That isnt nessecarily bad. You need to change the chaincase oil. I got 12oz bottle of it for $7 and it didnt even take quarter bottle.

Update-------

Ok guys here's an update of my sled issue... i had a sled-head come over with all his testing equipment and knowledge, and what we found was the efi-box isn't putting out a signal to the flywheel side injector.. went through everything.. used jumper wires from battery to efi box harness to injector. Pulled the air box and just gave that one cylinder carb spray and ran like a champ... tested the power output for that injector at the efi box and there was nothing.. so we took it off, brought it inside to take a peek inside... and found a surprise! Its been fixed before.. somewhere along the lines of the sleds life someone had the box either reconditioned or fixed by someone who knows circuit boards with aftermarket capacitors from radio shack! So just thought id share the findings for anyone else who has this problem and needs help... and thanks guys for all your helpful input on this issue.

Make sure all your wire connections are good. Try running three quarters of a bottle of sea foam in your tank to clean the injectors out.
