First my sled is a new to me 2001 Polaris 800 XC SP

Question#1; is there any type of engine kill/teather set up for this rocket?
reason is, I took this mad man for my first blast down the trail from my cabin the other day and while retuning to the cabin went to turn right, into my yard leaning right of course and caught a rut or something and high sided it landing on the left side and sliding on the ice. anyways the motor did not shut down and when i finally got to it, it stalled and seems to have flooded. Had to let it sit for awhile before it would restart.

Question#2 I just installed a "reverse" set up from a 2002 XC machine I got off ebay. I did notice on the gauge cluster there is an idiot light for reverse, Wondering what needs to be done to get this to work. Do I need to swap out the CDI box also. Reverse works great! no having to drag the sled into the connex for storage!

I have a tether for Polaris sleds. $20.00 shipped. I agree with installing them and I usually have them on my sleds.

I take it the reverse is mechanical? If so, the idiot light won't work. Only there for PERC sleds...
