Polaris 800 Ves motor in a 2005 900 Chasis

Hey guys, so I have a chance to get a 2005 Polaris 900 chasis. I am curious to know if I could put a 2003 polaris Ves 800 Motor in it? Has anyone tried it, or know if it would work. Your opinions are greatly appreicated. Bruce!!

I don't see why not? The only obstacles that comes to mind are motor mounts, and you might have to buy a wiring harness from a carbed IQ sled because the 900 is a CFI. Everything else should be a go!

Where are you located?
