Going to be doing some work on a 92 Indy for a friend I haven't had a chance to see it to clearly yet but he says that the idler wheels don't have replaceable bearings is this true he has told me most need to be replaced and he has to buy a whole new wheel. Is there a replacement part that has a separate bearing
Polaris idler wheels all have replaceable bearings. Most are 6205-2RS, some may be 6204-2RS. There are a couple of smaller ones on the two all plastic upper wheels which number I can't recall at the moment, but all are replaceable.
I got all my new bearings from usabearingsandbelts.com. They were like 17 bucks for 10 bearings. For that price I replaced every bearing in my skid. Just measure your existing bearings in mm and cross reference their bearings that way. Much cheaper than oem parts.
