Hello everyone!
Just purchased a 98 600xc with what i thought had a bad cdi. I found a used cdi through a dealer. The sled before i got the cdi would run for about 20ft and die. Thought it was the cdi so i replaced it and now im still dealing with the same issue after replacing it. I researched the forums and people said to disconnect the black wire and see if i get spark. I did that and still no spark. I cant figure what is wrong now. Any advice would greatly be appreciated!
Check all you grounds and connections. If all those check out may be a stator issue but mostly likely bad wire somewhere

Where should I look for grounds on this sled this is my first polaris so I'm still learning the sled. Is there common areas where grounds tend to be bad? Thanks again
Have you checked the coil wires etc? If you let it sit idol will it do the same thing? I've found when looking for a bad ground sometimes it works best to let it run at idol and just start wiggling wires. If it starts to stall out then you've found it. Good luck
