89 polaris sprint idle issue

Hey guys, new to the forum and sledding. i did a search with no luck, this is my first sled, alway been a dirtbike guy. Anyways i have an 89 sprint 340 dual carb, my problem is i can get it to idle but on low rpm it bogs, once i get the rpms up its fine, i started at a base with air screw 1 turn out and the idle screw roughly the same ive been fiddling with it for a few hours now with no avail. I pulled the carbs when i got this sled tore them down soaked and cleaned everything so i know they are clean i just need some help tuning the dang thing. is there a good post elsewhere on here or can someone give me a quick lesson, 1 carb on a dirt bike was easy this is a little more tricky. thanks

Try going IN on the air screw 1/8 of a time and test to see if the bog goes away. If you seat the air screw with no change, it's probable that the air or fuel passages to the pilot jet or the pilot jet are clogged.

so look like it is the pilot jets, i pulled the carbs last night and one was completely blocked, the other not so bad. Also found one of the main jet passages in the carb itself was partially blocked aswell. Cleaned everythin, now soaking in a cleaner bath. hopefully this should fix the problem.

It's pretty amazing how well they run when things are clean
