'91 indy sport rings
I want to replace the rings on my '91 indy sport fan cooled 440. I bought it used and have no idea if the pistons were ever changed or if it was bored out. How can I identify if it has stock pistons, stock bore etc... If stock pistons are there aftermarket less expensive rings for it? What should the ring end gap be when placed into bore without piston?
The compression is down around 90 but there are no scuffs, head gasket is good etc...
