94 polaris storm.. max lug?

hey i was just wondering what is the largest track lug size i can fit on a 1994 polaris storm 800.. i dont want to stud it so no worries there.. i am willing to do minor modifcations

thats what i was thinking i appreciate the help.. im probably going with a 1.5 ripsaw i have had a 1.25 in the past and i really like the bite

if you don't run the track super tight, the 1.5 may rub a little bit. you may need to clearance the lugs to fit around the front cooler protector. no big deal, but some wedges need it...

so your saying i will just have to clip part of the middle paddles/lugs all the way around.. or will i need to move the heat exchanger

you may have to cut a small amount out of the track lugs to clear the front cooler, but not all sleds have the issue. depends on the track fitment, how tight it is, etc...

I don't think the 94 storms came with a front cooler. At least mine didn't. The cooler in the tunnel on mine is directly under where I sit. But if its been modded or changed from the factory that may be different. I would try to check all your clearances before u purchase and after installation to be sure it don't rub. I've been thinking of putting in a ripsaw as well.
