ski rubber bumper orientation?

finishing up on a basket case, down to the skis. ordered new rubber bumpers and they are obviously taller on one side than the other. anyone know which way they go?

When I have a choice, I always put the high side toward the back, so the ski tip has a tendency to rise. That way the tip isn't pointing down to end up in a hole somewhere. That's also the way it was called for on my Edge RMKs and seemed to work fine.

would have thought the opposite, but i will go with your theory.

i recall a bulletin from years back with the poo riders fighting some hard steering conditions from unintentionally reversing the blocks?

Could be. I read an article a while back on trying to eliminate darting and that was one thing that the article stated that would help. I tried it, and it did seem to work. If the high side was supposed to be in the back and it was reversed, i would imagine that the front of the ski would be forced into the snow, which would cause harder steering.. makes sense to me.

This wasn't the article, but close...
