I have a 90 polaris 650 and i am changing the clutch weights, the clutch has blue spring and had 10-A weightis in it, I got a used clutch that has 10-M weights but 1 is broken, and A friend gave me a brand new set of Polaris weights and the only marking on them is Q these are same leght but skinnier and at the tip is more square then pointed unlike the A-M sets i have. Will these Qs work and any suggestions on where i can look these up or does anyone know what the Q weights go to, like i said he told me they were polaris weights but nothing to prove it and i dont want to gernade my clutch..

Any answers would be a great help

I dont' find a Q in my book. They may be for an ATV clutch. If they have the same weight and a similar curve on the outer edge, they should perform about the same. The 10A is a 55 gram weight, the 10M is 49.5. The 10M will probably over-rev the engine, 5.5 grains less is pretty substantial.

ok thanks, yeah they are all similiar in shape and size im gonna do alittle more research see if i cant find out what they went to before I put it all back together. so if i find out what they went to i will post it!!
