I have a 91 artic cat 650 triple, everything im reading about this motor is telling me its fuel injected and this motor is def not fuel injected, Am i missing something did they use 2 diff motors and is there a way i can check to see what motor is in it like a car? is there a casting # on block im baffeled because i need to order parts and i dont want to order all wrong stuff?

Any help would be great!!!

and what im seeing in pictures of this sled online it has the paint job of a 1990 did they put the triple in 3 years as carborated as well

Sorry RJ i was talking with a friend about his aritc cat and typed this maker, I have a Polaris 650 triple cant tell what model, it has indy stickers on it but guy who owned it before was kind of a meat head and i dont know enough to tell, can i run the model and serial # some where to see what it actually is?
Ill take Pics today and post them, thanks for the help being a new rider its good to know that people will help with questions, and problems what they say is true snowmobilers will always help eachother out in a bind huh

Pics of the sled and engine along with the relevant #s from both will help to identify it.

The only EFI version was the RXL, the rest were carbed engines.

Most likely it is a 1991 Indy Trail 650. I have a 92 Indy Trail 650. It does have carbs not fuel injection. The fuel Injection is on the RXL650. But the standard Indy Trail 650 has carbs.

Indy trail wasnt a liquid. Sp its not a 650.
The 1991 Polaris Indy 650 is called just that nothing else unless its efi than its a rxl

its a 650, its just not a trail. what online says your sled is fuel injected? only the RXL 650 was efi.
