**What have you done to your POLARIS today?!?!**
Greased it up, changed the chaincase oil, lubed the nipples. gave it a good check over, started her up and braap'd the throttle a little bit, told her she is a naughty girl and I cant wait to ride her hard.
What did you do to your Polaris today???

What year is it? I could use a speedo cable and the cable in the transducer, maybe even the speedo if it is the right year.

2004 classic
spent 3hrs. going over carbides in track some where loose i'm surprised some did not pull out. checked all nuts and bolts in skid to make sure they are tight. greased all fittings and check bearing in skid , that was a two beer job. was a nice day out , would have been better with a foot of snow. can't wait. i'm ready. charlie

I just got a new to me '91 500 Classic that just needed a little t.l.c. I also have a '94 440 Sport that I'm using for parts. Not sure why there was no brake fluid in the 500 but the spare on the 440 was still nice and firm. Put that one on my 500 and bled out all the old fluid from the entire system and filled and bled until all the fluid coming out the bleeder was nice and clean. Topped of the m/c and it feels nice and firm so that should be out of the way. Looks like the original is saveable so I'll go through it and have a spare.

I'm in the process of changing my headlight/guage pod over to a different hood. The old one was smashed into on the right side and was riveted together when I got it. Found an '01 700 hood at Hay Days in good shape. It's the same color, but I'll probably strip the decals and run it blank.

Not a bad find!
thinking of ripping the decals of sending it to the autobody and have it painted than it leave it stripped black.
