The rumble packs are amazing, I love the sound on my 800.
I installed the powermadd universal pivot riser, fits any flat top steering post. about $70.

Sure is great to see the participation on this thread. Lets keep it going. If this was a skidoo thread it would be about 40 pages long of "im fixing" or "I broke"

After removing all of the shafts in my skid and taking them to my wire wheel I grease and re-installed them (using anti sieze on the one shaft without a zirc fitting), replaced the sleds and then put skid back into my 97' Storm, also re-jetted it. Not sure, but center cylinder is a much lighter red than the other two so I am guessing it ran hot. I just bought a infered thermometer so I can see what temps each cylinder are running at.

I tore down my 650 for seals n rings, cleaned carbs. Also got some of the little tweaks fixed from when I put the motor in a xcr chassis. Can't wait to hear it run again. Great thread by the way

I agree they always say "Best sled, nothing comes close" You need to have an attitude like that to keep your self sane after fixing it every ride.

I like the white indy. I have been wanting a vintage sled myself. Would love to get a hold of a 77 Polaris Colt. The front end reminds me of an old 66 mustang

Pulled my motor out of my pro x to toss a new steering post on and decided it was a good time to start repolishing my motor and parts. Here's my bottom crankcase torque plate. Gota keep these 800's tied together!
The motor straps do he** on this thing and cause it to oxidize very bad we're it is bolted together. Wet sanded most of it out.

Keep the posts coming. I really enjoy reading what everyone has done.
Wonder if BC_Dan will reply
Today I pulled the primary off the wifes sled. It wasnt disengaging all the way and burning belts. Clean it all up, seems to be working. Taking it for a rip tomorrow.

Stared at her sitting in the driveway and cried. Knowing I had to go to work and that it would still be 3 more days before I could ride her for 5!
With a gentle flash of her headlight she knew all would be better soon.
.......Yeeeeeppppppppp....Im losing it!

Well since we missed the snow I took the grills out of the Rush and painted them Red! I'll get picks up soon. This next weekend I'll be replacing an IFS arm on the '04 and getting it ready.
