Dumbest question ever asked?

I have a 2008 700iq. When looking for parts and accessories I see items advertised as for "iq chassis" and "Dragon chassis" Isn't an iq the same sled as a dragon just different shocks? I don't always see "iq" advertised. So should I be looking for "Dragon chassis"?

Example, I bought a cover on Craigslist from a guy, it was for a Fusion and he said its the same as the iq chassis, well its not and it didn't fit.

If anyone needs a fusion cover I have one! great condition. Thanks!

Dragon Chasis and IQ is the same. I have a '09 700 RMK IQ, my buddy has a '10 Dragon... exact same sled just different shocks and engine.

The Fusion and original IQ (2005-2006) are basicly the same chassis with completely different plastic styling and track length configurations. For 2007, the Fusion was dropped, and the entire line consolidated into a revised IQ chassis called the RAW. The RAW chassis is the fixed and improved version of the original IQ, widely used as the Dragon through 2010.

All of them are called IQ; however, the IQ Fusion and IQ Dragon are not the same thing.

Ok, so when looking for add-ons, performance parts or accessories what should I be looking for? When I look for "08 700IQ" I don't see many results for parts, (maybe my selection is just limited?) that why I'm thinking maybe my sled is more commonly listed as something else?... If I don't see "700IQ" is "700 Dragon" the same. Sorry if I'm being confusing. I buy truck performance parts all the time I'm just having a hard time with the sled for some reason!

All the late 2000's 700 engines are the same right?

Most parts made for 2007-2010s will fit your sled. Some minor changes and revisions were made almost every year, particularly in the front end, up to the '09s, but most of the aftermarket stuff will work for all of them. When searching for parts, the most common classification will be "2007-2010 Polaris IQ", or something of that nature.

Not at all! The original Liberty 700 was a smallblock, its base form used from 1998-2004. The 2005-2006 700 is based on the big block 900 bottem end, quite different but not really in a good way. The new (and last) small block 700 came along in 2007, and after some minor mapping revisions in 2008 it was a really a great, solid motor.

Maybe I was think all 700cfi's? Thanks for all the clarification, much appreciated!

I have some questions on if my sled is completely stock or not too. Maybe if I put some pictures up you'd be able to help me. It might have some aftermarket airflow vents and intake stuff. Not sure.
