95 xcr 600 heat exchanger help!

So i got a 95 polaris xcr 600 L/C in Nov of 2011. The heat exchangers are under the running bored. Now on my moms and dads sleds is in the tunnel. Now how mine are on the running boreds, is that stock? and if not id like to move them back under the tunnel. Thanks for the help!

That design was to aid in snow removal from the running boards. It's marginally effective at doing so, as you probably have found out!

If you ever put ice scratchers on your sled to aid in cooling, get the kind that mount on the skis. They throw the ice up where it hits those coolers better than the track-mounted ones.

Your machine will also have one inside the tunnel behind the bulkhead just in front of the drive shaft.
