i have 100 gallons of 40:1 2 cycle gas. it is 7 years old. it is blm. works fine in chainsaws. dont really trust it in my snowmachine yet. any way to boost the octane? seafoam?

a hundred gallons is a lot of gas! But 7 years is a long time.... IDK what I'd do with it. Usually that kind of stuff when I get it goes in the good ole lawn mower.... But I just had to rebuild that same lawnmower...

I'd Maybe mix 50:50 with fresh Premo and run it in the sled.

Donate it to a science project.

mix in a couple gallons of it to a full tank of fresh gas and use it over time in something other than the sled.

like already said 100 gallons is far too much to throw away, and 7 years is a long time.

just wondering why has it been sitting around that long??

Yea, why so long?

I mix my leftover fuel into my truck. I put about 2 gallons at a time per time of fill-up.

i did the same thing with the 10gal of
mixed fuel for my olympic.
put a gallon of mixed for 10 gal of fresh fuel,
but your fuel being that old id be scared to use it but
thats your decision.

a guy had a sign up that said free gas. so of course i wen checked it out and brought it home. it still ran in his outboard motor. it was in two sealed 50gallon drums. (they were a huge pain to get in the back of our pickup!! lol.) a guy at the refinery said just to run in my old carberated stuff.
