engine??? going bad???

i have a 1999 rmk 700 and i juist went water skipping and sunk only up to the crank for approx. 5min. started it for 2secs under water then shut it off. got it out started right up and not a problem. will i have any problems appear next season?

People sink these things all the time.

Obviously not the ideal thing to do, but it happens.

Drain all the water, add fresh gas, start it up and let it run for a while to dry out. I would do that a couple times over several days, then fog it real good for the summer.

Fogging it will get down into the case where just adding oil to the cylinders don't.

Easiest way to clear a motor they'd been sunk is to spray wd into both cyl and pull with plugs out til nothing shoots out then new plugs and fire it up. I've goren really god at it and this is the easiest way I've come up with. Takes less then 20 min. And wouldn't ever try tuning asubmerged motor under any circumstances.

did u see the video? ik it was a dumb idea. my dad sugested it though haha. but as soon as it came out it started right up and worked the rest of the time.
