fixin up the sled
just thought i would share my adventure of me fixin up my 1992 polaris indy 650 rxl sks. but first a little about the sled. last summer my grandpa purchased the sled for my from his neighbor for 100 bucks. The guy just had it sitting in his back yard uncovered for 3 years. He told me he had parked it there when it stopped moving but still ran. For 100 bucks i knew i couldnt go wrong so my grandpa bought it for me. that summer we got it going good enough to run it last winter. only thing we could not find and still havent found but we are looking is the triple pipe exhaust the guy said he lost it wile moving. right now we are working on repainting the hood and we are going to spray the foot rest with spray bed liner and paint the suspension red.
before

the hood
trim
i will post more pictures as i go

Snowweasel - you cant sell the pipes to him - POLARIS INDY22, in order for u to buy a triple pipes, you have to find the pipes specifically your sled - meaning the pipes and you have to have a computer chip that goes with that application. WL.

If his pipes are design to run for Indy 650, thats the carb version. You need a computer chip to work with the fuel injection. Keep looking, there got to be somebody may have something that works for your application. WL

That model may not be EFI, in which case he can run the triple pipes but will have to rejet and then do some clutch work.

Well that's the only way you could use triple pipes. Unless you could find an aftermarket ECU, (no factory RXLs with triple pipes, no factory ECU) which I don't imagine would be any cheaper.
Pick up a single pipe muffler and just run it.

Your RXL is a '91, and is not an SKS.
It did not come with triple pipes:
