91 polaris 440 flooding out, please help

I have a polaris 440.. ran grreat last year no problems.. i got it running this year.. seamed ok for a day or two.. then it died, had to full choke to get it home... filled tank again, it ran ok for the day...but still needed choke on off on off to drive it then it died in the yard here.. i let it sit, tried start next day and it flooded out again agian agian.cleaned carbs put bak together but mabye new seats? and needles?. lots of spark, realized it had gallon of gas in muffller??? drained that out. thank god..tried start it, but still no start? plenty spark, plenty of gas flo, it doesnt seam to be flooding though any more.. just wont even fire at all .. im stumped.. could burnt headlight surge anything??? also may i add.. dad bought used coil wen first bot sled and he never taped wires that mabye arcked? causing hed light burnt? causing start prob?? elec fuel pump? but i still got spark!!! snows almost gone and i gotta get this prob fixed thanx :-) fisrt time post.. email shawman7777@yahoo.com

The pump is vacuum, not electric. If you are getting plenty of gas and spark, the next check should be compression.

have you drained the excees gas out of the bottom of the crankcase. 2 small (10mm) brass head head bolts below exhaust on front of engine.

Try draining the gas tank, it may have water in it.

thanx for all the support, also found out the needles and seats are worn out in carb...? local sled shop said we needed nnew ones... hopfully it works.but will double chek crank case and exhaust too.thanx. snow storm in northern mich right now lota snow, sad to seee sled sit haha.., thanx again
