Indy 650 carbs

Will carbs off a 1990 Polaris Indy 650 fit a 1987 Polaris Indy 600?

both sleds mentioned used vm38 carbs. The factory setup called for different pilot jets and needle valves

Do you know what exactly I need to do to set these up for the Indy 600? Like what pilot jets, needles, etc

The 90 650 came with 260 mains
45 pilots
6DH4-3 needle

The 86 600 came with
260 mains
40 pilots
6F9-3 needle

I owned a 86 600 back in the day and found in my case the factory jetting was too rich, can't remember what I jetted the main back to.

Your sled may be different.

650 carbs

Hello. I am currently running 6DH4 (center clip), a Q-2 needle jet, 40 pilots, and 250 mains on a 1987 600 LE. Stock air box with foam removed, and stock exhaust. Runs real nice with this set up. Pulls hard from idle all the way through.
