Don't cut prematurely. The excitement of first timers often leads to disappointment.

Measure twice, cut once
I had that same fear when I installed Better Boards in the tunnel running boards. It's scary, because if you mess it up, it will be really spendy to fix! Good luck!!

I know exactly how you're feeling...
I remember (back in the 70's) cutting a hole in my new car's roof to install a pop-up sun roof. Back then, they weren't an option on many cars.
Take your time, and think it through before starting to cut.

X2 on measure twice (or 20 times,) cut one. A miscut would be costly, take your time and you'll be ok. Good luck!

Thanks for all the support everyone. I will be sure to take my time and also try to take some pix for you all. The template in the kit lines up w/ a couple of existing rivets for the stock tunnel coolers for proper placement, BUT when I go to cut the 2 long side I will be very close to the edges of the existing coolers. Right now I'm just trying to finish up the other projects before I tackle this one

I would lift the front end up a bit with some rope or a big floor jack and run it a little while to make sure any air bubbles work their way to the front and are burped out, keep an eye on the reserve bottle to see if it drops from air expulsion. But I agree with the rest...you did a great job, looks factory !!.

Thanks everyone, I'm pretty happy with how it all came out and it was really easy too. I still dont understand why Polaris didn't design it to fit up under the tunnel, but oh well. I filled up the new cooler before I attached the hoses. I also installed a new coolant reservoir bottle as well do to the neck being egg shaped. When I was done I lowered the rear of sled to ground and jacked up the front to aid in the bleeding process.
heres a shot from the under side

It's so shiny and pretty! Smart filling it up prior. Is there a hole under the seat where it fits?

Thanks I haven't try fitting the seat yet. According to the instructions I have to trim a small area toward the back of the seat pan to clear the new U pipes. BUT, I'm hoping to be converting to either a Skinz or WRP seat
