reverse kits all years

Im looking to add reverse to all my sleds, but thay span a few body and engine types.
What Im looking for, has anyone compiled a interchange list of all the polaris reverse kits? i have a 97 xlt sp, and a 98 indy 500, and im looking at a 99 xc 600. i see reverse kits for sale, but thay never have the year i need, but i know some must be able to interchange between models and years and bodys. So if someone has a list of parts that can interchange it would be great to see.

for these years/models most of the inner parts are interchangeable but the shift mechanisms are different. The XLT & Indy have shift lever on handle bar which is cable activated and the Gen II 99 XC is a pull-back shift lever on the console by the pull start rope handle. The most common kit differences I see are in the lower drive gears which come in 41 40 39 & 37 T depending on the engine cc

Sweet! Keep us posted. I was just thinking that I should look into reverse for my 99 Indy 500.

How about sourcing used kits? I have a couple of places that I can get them from used, but all the seller can tell me with certainty is what sled it came off of. How do I cross-reference?

crossrefferences, is finding out if part numbers are tha same, but even if thay are different, the chain cases could be the same. its like ford and chevy with their interchange book on their engines and what you can bolt onto them.
