Indy trail touring top speed

Guys what is a stock well maintained 98 Indy 500 trail touring 2up top speed? Anybody have a reliable source?

I have a 98 indy 500 with extra 10 and it tops out around 85 so pry around there somewhere

I would agree polaris98ify, I had an older Indy trail 440 fan, flat out with a tail wind did 73, might have hit 74-75 with a long enough stretch to wind out to the bitter end. With the newer engines and technology also came power and speed, so 80-85 isnt unreasonable.

Also slightly depends on gearing, 2 up sled may be geared a little lower in anticpation of pulling a bit more weight.

80 mph but you are righ the gearing is lower looking at the spec sheet on the touring from the trail. Hurry up snow!!

Well I had it out for the years first ride today. Top speed on the hard packed road on the speedo was 90 and still climbing but I let off. Somebody tuned this bad boy nicely. 70 mph tops hah!
