Edge 136" Extension Project
I just finished up the 136" extension on my 02 600 edge. Here are some pictures of the work we did. Currently we are finishing the Powermadd pivot adapter with a 4" Powermadd riser. We put on the Throttle Extension and I am having a 6" extension brake line made at a local hydraulic shop to add on. The only concern I have with it is the slack I may have or not have in my wires (handlebar warmers etc.) Has any one done this and know if there is room?

Looks nice! Nice work.
From the risers I have seen, it's been about 50/50 when you go 4". Half have room, the other half have to cut and splice wire to make it. I went 4" on my 04 Edge and didn't have to splice. Good luck!

That is what I am afraid of, I want to avoid the splicing. I will cut the zip ties and see how much room I have freeing those wires up. If anything I can go done to a 2 or 3" riser, still getting an inch or so just from the adapter. Before I rode with a no pivot 4" but really wanted to change the angle so that is the reasoning for the pivot style.

Thanks! A little more work this weekend and next week and I should have it all finished for the year. Taking the cage out to do the swap was nice to go through and do some routine maintenance on it.

I added a Powermadd pivot adapter and 4 inch riser to my edge-x last year. My wiring was short and instead of cutting and splicing the wires that were on the sled I ordered similar connectors from Automotive Wire Terminals - Battery Cable & Electrical Supplies and they are under trailer connectors. All I did was cut and splice those to length.

Nice job, and nice shop too. You're going to love the 136... It's not quite as fast as a 121 in the twisties, but it has a noticably nicer ride. It does "deep" a lot better too!

My sled came with the extension already so I don't know what it costs but you can get the extensions from Tracks USA, Largest Dealer of Snowmobile Tracks and Parts for between $145-$170 depend on the length you got or they are cheaper if you buy them with a track.

Tracks USA make the best rail extensions. They use a hi fax unlike other brands and actually lock into rail instead of just bolting on

The extension and track all came from Tracks USA. They are a family owned business and were extremely helpful. I bought the Ripsaw 1.25 136" and the extension kit for $734 shipped to my house. Due to an extremely poor winter last year I was only able to ride it a couple times. The ride was better and noticed the drop off in top end, mainly due to switching gears to account for the added track. This year I had the rear shock rebuilt for the first time to freshen up the suspension. I am looking into stepping up to the .405 springs to stiffen it up.
