OK, daughters 92' EFI sled has been rebuilt, painted, assembled...but wont friggin START!!!

Fuel pump works and is pumping like it should...plenty o' spark....just seems like no fuel going into the cylinder....so WTF?

I have the same sled and have replaced the injectors a few times, or I have a few sets.

Are you getting any flashes on the ECU to denote the injectors are failing?

2 long and one short would be the flywheel side.
2 long and two short would be the PTO / clutch side

If you prime the cylinders does it fire at all?

I'd check the traingular plug and make sure connections are clean.

Beautiful looking sleds....Question...Im lookn at a 91 Polaris Indy 500 EFI for $550 needs some work with steering and plastic has some cracks but was painted black. Sounds like a good sled? You sound like the expert.

what does he mean by runs OK? and see if he has any pics of it. and what is wrong with the front end.

I did prime the cylinders and it did fire...but would not stay running. No fuel getting through the injectors, or the fuel pump doesn't have the psi to activate the injectors...I dont feel like buying a new fuel pump @ $200+.

Just going to change the cylinder to convert to carbs!

You should get father of the year award I think your daughter ended up with the best sled of the kids! Its nice to see someone taking the time to make these sleds into what they should be.

Converted daughters EFI Indy to Carb. The EFI was to hard to figure out and could be too many things that would keep it from starting....... made and all required modifications to convert....got fuel and spark and SHE FIRED UP!!!

Still have not taken it for a test ride, still need to install "Pink" shocks and "Pink" Boggie wheels.

Test drove daughter's sled tonight...she ran like a RAPED APE!!! Almost hit a dumpster. Throttle response is on the money, idle's perfect, just doesn't like to stop on ice packed snow.

Only thing left to do is get the seat re-covered, then post pics on here.
