Not really, I run my SKS700's down on the bracket, and if you want, you can drop the blocks in the back to compensate

No, it does not. What it does do is shift more weight onto the skis and that will cause overstear. You would have to make other adjustments to compensate for this and bring the suspension back into balance.

When you lower the rear mounts (effectively raising the rear of the sled), you have to add spring tension to the front of the skid to relieve some of the down pressure on the skis. You would also increase the ski spring tension at least 2 full turns.

You want the sled to track straight and not push into the turns or have too much ski pressure that it tends to dart.

Some .100 aluminum plate will do the job.
You only need to have about an inch below the tunnel to attach to which will give you a lot of lift/clearance.

I made some for my Indy trail. I made mine outa 1/16 plate steel. NAND used bolts. I added an inch of lift starting under the running board andade it go up to 6" ( you ain't no redneck till it's lifted hahaha) i set it at 3" for now till i ride it. Then mess with the setup more . Then i am going to cut off the holes I don't use. I am building front arms too right now outa alum and liftin the front 2 ". I'll post my stupid trail sled and all the dumb sh*t I have done to a 488 fan cooled heavy as all hell trail sled. It's retartrd some people think. But here is some photos on this thread.
