Smile Computer Trouble codes

I have a buddy with an older polaris sled. It is a 1994 fuel injected 650 Indy RXL touring. When he starts the sled up after it has sat for a while, say over 6 hours at least it will start up again just fine. But, once you shut it off after the first start it will not start again. It is a computer problem, probably from some sensor and there is a code blinking from the computer module, I dont remember what the code was but it was like (* * * * * * * * *), three blinks I think. He lost his manual so thats why im asking if anyone knows what it says in there about this code. It was save us so much frustration lol.

It is a long/short blink. Either 1 or 2 in combinations to make a two digit number.
This would be the trouble code. eg; 1-1, 2-1,1-2.
We need to know exactly what it is to be able to give you any good pointer to the right diagnosis.
