86 indy 400 skid

Hi everyone im new to the forum and I just bought a 86 indy L/C while it runs good I checked the track out and everything looked okay until i tipped it over on its side and realized the skid was broke. So now the question I know that the extra 10 skid will work I cannot find one for cheap and dont really want to pay $150 for one when thats the amount of money I paid for the entire sled I found an arctic cat skid on craigslist for $50 and I am wondering if I can make it fit Im fairly mechanically inclined and can do some fabricating does it have to be a polaris skid or can I use any skid???

What year AC skid?
You may also have to put in the matching track as well.
