rear axle stuck on 04 RMK

hey everyone, trying to get some slack in my rear track to change out the hi fax, i seem to have the rear axle stuck, this is the first time around doing this for me, sled has 3K miles on it.
I read the manual and it says all i need to do is losen the boltings pushing the axle rearward and it becomes loose and adjustable, but this does not seem to be the case,
Is the axle it self tightened into the rear slider, do i need to release the rear bolts holding on the rear bogeys to losen the axle ?
im a little stumped, thanks

yep, you need to loosen the bolts that hold each rear wheel on- they are pinching everything together. Even then you might have to tap the axle forward with your hand...

Thanks alot, i ended up just finding the answer in my owners manual, since ive been working on various parts of the sled this week ive been looking at the service manual only, and the service manual did not mention those bolts, the owners manual clearly mentioned the bolts pinching the set togeather.
werid the indifference, but as you can understand i didnt want to end up with a half taken apart axle, that was still stuck...
thanks
