I need to replace the Rear Shock (7042141 Shock, Rear, Track, in parts manual), in my 2004 700 Edge Classic Touring and I'm looking for an aftermarket replacement shock. i can find the front shock replacement, but not tte rear. Does anyone know where i can get the rear shock? Or where i can get the length open & closed so i can replace it properly?

is there any way to find out the OEM open & closed lengths? at least then we could get replacements. OEM is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Take the shock out and measure it.

Check SPI.
