How long can a tripple go?

I was just wondering how long a good maintained tripple could go before a rebuild.

My personal experience is with a 1997 Polaris XLT touring that blew up at 11000 miles. Should have rebuilt it between 8 and 10k.

top end on most sleds is like 5k.. but thats a really relaible sled and is pretty much bullet proof, ive never had one so id go with ultrafrozens advice, but the whole motor will go alot more then 7-9k, thats just topend
