starter

Hi guys i have a 2004 rev x with electric start! Took the machine out of storage and charged the battery...when i push the start button nothing,. I am getting full voltage on the battery...please help...it doesnt even click!

Check the connections at the battery and the starter for corrosion.

WEll bought a new starter relay ...not the problem!!....push the
start button and it just clicks....button is fine i checked it was getting continuity when it was pressed. Someone please help....battery too weak i am thinking.....charge all night getting 12 volts....should it be more to make relay work?

Try jumping it with a bigger battery. If it turns when jumping, that would point to a bad battery. Corrosion as Stangcruisin suggests can also keep the battery from sending enough amps to the starter to turn it.
