440 water cooled to fan cooled chassis

I was just given a 94-95 indy 440, motor runs Great. The tunnel on the sled is destroyed, the drive shaft with the main drive gears ripped the bearings and tunnel to hell on the clutch side of the sled. I have a 91 500 indy that is sitting and needs alot of suspension work and crank seals. I am thinking of converting it to liquid cooled to run the 440. Has anyone converted one before and what major issues am I looking at???? Thanks in advance.

Well I put a liquid in a fan cooled sled..It was a 76 Cheetah frame and I put a 521 Formula motor in it. It was aaaa lootttt of work. Too much work for what it was worth. And polaris uses a cooler in back of the bulkhead and on the running boards so thats more work...Not to mention if the motor plate and mounts arent the same. Trying to get the motor lined up is a battle of its own...Then after you get all that done the exhaust is probably different. If you do do it, it will probably be a lot of work.
