Goodbye to old sled, in with new!
well, sold the 1996 XLT SP 600 the other day, was a really good sled, never gave me any problems and had plenty of jam for a 600 mostly stock...
I have replaced the old one with a 2006 Fusion IQ 900 has had all the upgrades done and has a Timbersled intake, SLP can and fox float shocks...was a factory demo and still has one year left of warranty remaining, cannot wait to take it for for a rip...

Nice new sled. I just went through the same thing too, saying good-bye to my former sled. But bringing in a new sled is always good! I hope you enjoy her for years to come!

Can't beat an Old tripple though. I also have a 600 XLT and not sure if I want to get rid of it. I bought a 1995 500 Indy from an original owner with 2600 miles..I wont be driving the 600 but still want to keep it just so I can drive a tripple and hear the roar of it. The only thing I dont like is that I put a crank in it last winter and dont think the one I put in it is going to last too long either...lol..Good luck with the fusion. I'm sure you wont miss the 600!!!

I could not agree with you more, the 600 was classic polaris at its best in the wedge sleds, it had the great xtra 12 suspension, fox shocks, the 600 tripple sounded great when compared to the old skidoo rotax twins and such...I actually did not want to get rid of it, but just did not have the room for two sleds at my house...

Yup I just upgraded this summer too. Sold my first sled- a 1986 polaris 340 sprint. I was pretty sad seeing her leave the driveway, but 2 days later I picked up my year 2000 polaris 700 xcsp with 3081 miles for $1300. It's been in the pole barn, I shine her up all the time.... just itching to get out on the trails! (which is like 1/10 of a mile from the driveway lol) But I think I'll miss the old one a little, but pretty sure the 700 will make up for it!

Wow that's gonna be a big step... just wait for the first few weeks, you'll be terrified of that machine!
After a while you'll get used to it though (if you make it past those first few rides lol). Nice trade though.
