another newbie

Hello, I’m an old gear head new to this sport. I recently bought a 96 ultra spx 680 to race on asphalt (it doesn’t snow much here)
As far as I know Camoplast are the only ones making an asphalt track?
The problem is I believe my track is 15X131.5 and compost doesn’t make that size.
What is involved to narrowing and/or replacing the skid so I can run a 10-inch track?
Thanks

I believe that the narrowest track would be a 13" from an F series cat.
The easiest fix would be to stick to the 15" wide and get a skid that is 121" or 136" to replace the 131.5" track.

A skid from a newer XC would do it.

Craigslist is just as good as anywhere else. There are more great deals on there everyday than you can count.
