Edge seat question

What holds down the front of the Edge seats? Anything?

Just a huntch but I believe the slide into the gas tank and then bolt onto the back. I'm not sure but I was looking at them on ebay and wondering the same thing. I'm considering tearing my brothers apart while he's not around just to find out how it will look on my sled.

Parts book is pretty vauge on that illistration. I'm just wondering if the seat slips onto the tank some how or if it just lays on top.

Usually the seat sits on top of the tank.

There is a "hook" on the front and two bolts in the back. Remove the two bolts and the seat will slide off... its kind of a pain to put it back on but it isnt the end of the world
