How to Select a Reverse Kit?

I've searched the archives and the web, but I can't seem to find much info on selecting a reverse kit. I hope someone can help a new snow machine owner out.

Last year I bought a 1993 Polaris Indy Trail Deluxe 440 fan cooled. After a season of dragging it off the trailer by myself I've decided to invest in a reverse kit. My owners manual doesn't show a reverse kit as an option for 1993 Indy Trail machines. I shows it for 1990-92. Would it be the same kit? If buying a used kit how can I find out what other sleds share the same chaincase? Is the chaincase particular to the engine or the chassis?

Any help is appreciated.

After some more research it looks like the reverse kit should be the same for all "wedge" style Indy's. So that would mean I need kit #2870861 and a 35 toothed reverse gear #2870906.

I hope that is true as that is what I'll be looking for unless someone tells me otherwise.

Usually they are universal for the wedges...

Thanks to your help, JheLrey, I have found a good used kit for what I think is a reasonable price.
