Edge 600 seat removal

I just bought an 03 Edge 600, and the stitching is coming apart on the seat's seam, I was wondering how to remove the seat so i can have it stitched? Also the left cylinder seems to be blowing off a decent amount of oil, what causes that?

If you look at the underside of the tunnel at the rear of the sled, you will see 2 bolts. Remove those and you will be able to take the seat off.

Most likely you have a pinhole or tear is that cylinder's exhaust valve bellows.
