Suspension Installation

I was wondering if there is a "wrong" way to put a suspension back in. I recently put on a new track. I started by putting the 2 front bolts back in. When I was putting the back two in, they wouldnt line up. (Suprise) So I took the tension off the springs. Suspension still wouldnt compress enough to install. So I decided to take the Fox shock off. Before I took the shock off, something gave out and istallation was a breeze. Now that it is back together, it looks (may not be) lower. It almost seems like something pivoted or something. Like where the lower part of the shock bolts in might have rolled toword the front part of the sled? Is that possible? It doesnt seem like it would be. I may just be seeing things. Any help would be great. Thanks!

It can happen. go to OnlineMicrofiche Index and look at the suspension microfiche for your sled. Something pivoted. Next time use a ratchet strap to compress it.

MY SC-10 pivoted the first time I put it in. Wouldn't compress at all that way.
