93 Indy trail

I am new to snowmobiling and I'm thinking about buying a 93 Indy Trail. The machine is in excellant condition, but has 5100 miles. A friend told me that the Polaris air cooled engines have problems between 5000-6000 miles. Has anyone had similar problems?

No, I never heard any of the problems with any fan-cooled motors in a Polaris. They are nearly solid bullet-proof machines when taken good care of. Ive seen alot of fan-cooled to go well over 10k miles and still be running strong. WL.
